Why Choose Midian Alcohol Ethoxylate(AEO)
Midian Oleamidopropyl Betaine(OAB) is a Nonionic Surfactant
AEO-3、AEO-5、AEO-7、AEO-9、AEO-12
As the EO number increases, the longer polyoxyethylene chain creates stronger intermolecular interactions and can raise the melting/solidification temperature, making higher-EO Alcohol Ethoxylates more likely to appear as pastes or semi-solids at room temperature.
Characteristics
Midian Alcohol Ethoxylate (AEO) is a versatile nonionic surfactant produced by ethoxylating fatty alcohols. Its performance can be adjusted by changing the fatty alcohol chain length and the number of ethylene oxide (EO) units. Therefore, different AEO grades provide different HLB values, water solubility, detergency, wetting and emulsification properties.
AEO is widely used in laundry detergents, dishwashing liquids, industrial cleaners, degreasers, textile auxiliaries, agricultural formulations, paints, lubricants and metalworking fluids. It provides excellent detergency, wetting, emulsification and dispersion properties and can be easily combined with other anionic, nonionic and amphoteric surfactants.
The most important specifications when selecting an AEO grade are carbon-chain length, EO number, HLB value, active content, cloud point, pour point and appearance. Common grades include AEO-3, AEO-5, AEO-7, AEO-9 and AEO-12, with different grades designed for different formulation requirements.
