Why Choose Midian Carbon Black
Midian Carbon Black is widely used in plastics as a black pigment, UV stabilizer and conductive additive. Conductive grades are used for antistatic and ESD applications.
Conventional coating resins, such as epoxy, acrylic and polyurethane resins, are generally electrically insulating. When conductive carbon black is incorporated into the coating, the carbon black particles can form interconnected conductive pathways throughout the polymer matrix.
The primary function of conductive carbon black is to provide electrical conductivity. It forms conductive pathways within the coating and provides surface or volume conductivity.
Conductive carbon black is widely used in epoxy-based conductive coatings, including conductive floors, ESD flooring and industrial protective coatings
